Why we exist
Buying health insurance should be simple and honest: you should know on day one exactly what you're covered for, not find out at the claims counter. That's the whole mission. Everything we build serves it.
Six fears every buyer knows
“I don't know what's best for me.”
Fifty plans, dense feature tables, no real guidance. You're expected to become an expert overnight.
“Will they actually pay?”
Everyone has heard the rejection stories. There's no reliable way to judge an insurer's claim behaviour before you buy.
“What's buried in the fine print?”
Eighty pages of legal language, written to be skipped. The restrictions that matter are the hardest to find.
“Am I paying a fair price?”
The cheapest premium often hides the most expensive clauses: costs that surface only when you claim.
“What exactly can I claim?”
Ask a direct question (will my mother's knee replacement be covered?) and you're told to go read section 4.2.
“I'll deal with it later.”
The confusion is so exhausting that people delay for years, then settle for whatever's in front of them.
One problem underneath them all
All six fears reduce to a single meta-problem: information asymmetry, weaponized by complexity. The seller knows everything about the product; you know almost nothing, and the complexity isn't an accident, it's the mechanism. Agents are paid by commission. Aggregators solved discovery (fifty plans on one screen) but not comprehension, and not trust. Nobody in the chain is paid to make sure you understand what you're buying. Which means, in practice: no one is solving this for buyers. That's the gap we exist to close.
What we're building instead
A buyer's advocate. We read every policy in full and decode it into plain language, with every claim traced back to the actual wording. We score insurers on their real, public track record (claims paid, complaints handled, penalties drawn), so trust is something you can check, not something you're asked for. And we stand on your side of the table at every step: when you choose, when you try to understand what you hold, and, eventually, when you claim.
The road ahead
Live today
Know what your health policy actually holds.
Bring us your existing health insurance policy and see what it really covers (the limits, the exclusions, the traps), decoded into plain language, every line traced back to the wording.
Where we're headed
Confusion removed from health insurance, end to end.
A full product suite that helps you buy the right cover at the right price (recommendations that show their reasoning, true cost over the years rather than today's premium, scenario answers like “will this surgery be covered, and what will I pay?”), and then stays with you through the claim itself. From choosing to claiming, one advocate on your side.
The end state we're working toward is simple: a buyer who stands on equal footing with the insurer. When that's normal, this industry will finally deserve the trust it asks for.
